Hello all, my name is Bradley Campion! I graduated from Texas State University with a
Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sports Science. My life has always revolved around sports. Through
sports, I found my passion for improving the body so that it can perform to its fullest. My calling is to
help others improve their everyday lives by bettering the body which in turn helps their minds function.
In selecting me as your personal trainer, we will be coming up with a specific plan of action so that you
know exactly what you need to do to reach your specific goals. I will give everything I have so that the
goals you have to get achieved, in order to become the person, you want to be.
"I look forward to each session knowing that he will be right there talking me out of the doubts in my head and pushing me to continue to be better.”
"Bradley is an amazing personal trainer, that has been invaluable in navigating me even passed my own personal goals"
Hello! My name is JD May; I've been a trainer at Texas Health and Racquet Club for 7+ years! I played college football at Sul Ross State University! I specialize in athletic development with a focus on speed and college/pro prep for athletes! I also have a passion for functional training and pain management/injury prevention. In my time at THRC, I've helped more than 80+ clients ranging from the ages of 7 years old to 84 years old! Whether it's getting in tip-top shape for summer or trying to stay healthy and able to perform daily tasks, I know together, we can get you to your fitness goals!
JD May was my trainer for about a year and a half.We met twice a week, and he had workouts ready for me.
One thing that I noticed right away was how thorough JD always was. We never wasted any time.
JD knew how to make every minute count, and he would make sure that I actually did the necessary number of
repetitions, and did them correctly (and yes, at times it *did* hurt, especially the leg presses).
JD is also very responsible: he really watched out for me,
made sure all the workouts were safe, and gave advice about food intake.
He is one of the most organized and well-meaning people I met: he never canceled any
sessions, we were able to keep the schedule, and he was always very kind tome. Even if I messed up.
Having JD as my trainer changed my life: it meant the world to know that I am not alone in this endeavor.
A good trainer becomes your guide and your friend. I actually learned to enjoy exercising.
Now when I moved away, I still exercise because he helped me to develop a habit.
I also remember his teaching me about different muscle groups and how to exercise them best
(and now I know where the triceps are, and why it is important to exercise the back).
"I’ve been with THRC for 5 years now, and I’ve never enjoyed a gym more than this one! They are my family away from home. Someone always greets you at the door and makes you feel comfortable as soon as you arrive. I worked with one of the trainers, JD May, and he continues to motivate me and cheer me on beyond our sessions together. I have never known a more motivated or encouraging trainer than JD. I will continue to be a member of THRC as long as I live in San Marcos!"
At 77 years old, this man amazes me with his work ethic and strength! The Marine in him really comes out when we get on the weights! Bill is super-dedicated and comes to THRC almost every day to stay fit, and can would blow many 20 & 30 year-olds out of the water! Way to go Bill, we are so happy that you are part of our FitFam!
I have been a member at THRC for two years now, and I worked out with JD for a year. When I began doing training sessions at THRC, I only planned on it being a short-term, three-month program to help me gain some motivation to get back into the gym.
I am a trainer here at Texas Health and Racquet Club to help members reach their goals.
The love I have for the health and functional fitness is my primary drive!
I am a proud believer in integrating functional movement into all workouts.
If one cannot move like a human was designed to move, then any other movement attempted will be flawed.
Being a trainer to me is much more than just helping people reach their goals;
it is to build a relationship and help clients with their overall health.
Hello! My name is Michael, but most people around the gym call me Mikey.

Having been raised a coach’s son; fitness has always played an important role in my life.

and through hard work and dedication have seen great results both physically and mentally.
My mission here at THRC is to help provide you with the tools you need to live a healthy and
active lifestyle, so that you too can see great results.
Most importantly, always remember: Stay positive, work hard,

“Her goal is to put on weight and gain as much muscle as possible. In our first 2 months of training, Sarah has put on over 4 lbs of muscle and has lost 2% body fat. She is currently weighing the most she’s ever weighed and has increased her strength tremendously! Keep it up girl!”
"If you’re looking for a personal trainer who won’t give up on your and will help you achieve any goal you’re looking at conquering, Mikey is your guy!”
Now I have @mikey14striker as a trainer who had me laughing right from the start. He fuels mycompetitive side (I'm ridiculously competitive with myself), he makes me feellike nothing is impossible. He believes in me more than I believe in myself...
Hi everyone! My name is Paul Valdez; I’m the fitness manager of our Wimberley location.
I graduated from Texas State with a Degree in Exercise and Sports Science.
My love for sports and fitness started at a really young age through playing little league baseball and
flag football which eventually translated to playing football, basketball, baseball, soccer and track in high school.
I became passionate about wanting to help others when I went through the rehab process after tearing both of my ACLs in high school and
realized how much I not only needed the physical guidance but from a mental aspect as well.
My goal is to help people feel knowledgeable in the gym, build confidence and lead a healthier lifestyle.
“My client @jennaben23 is a beast! She comes in day in and day out ready to work and busts her! We’ve been working together since December, and have been working her off from Keto and tweaking her diet back to a more balanced approach. Looking forward to our continued success in the months to come!”
Paul inherited me as a client and we clicked immediately... He demonstrated to me his competence and knowledge of all things a personal trainer should be from the word go. I suffered some serious injuries and underwent surgery during this time and he didn't miss a beat...
My name is Elias, and I’ve been a personal trainer at THRC since January of 2020.
I’m a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, and an AFPA Pre/Post-Natal Fitness Specialist.
I take pride in combining science-based training with real world experience to help people create lasting results.
My approach to coaching is shaped by my own fitness journey.
I’ve played baseball and football growing up, competed in powerlifting, lost over 50 pounds, and experimented with bodybuilding.
All of these experiences have taught me what it truly takes to build strength, transform your body, and stay consistent through challenges.
More recently, I’ve shifted my focus to endurance sports, completing 4 marathons, 8 Ironman 70.3 races, and 3 full Ironman triathlons.
Each chapter has reinforced my belief that progress is always possible with commitment and the right plan.
Outside the gym, I have enjoyed staying active throughout the last several years with hobbies like beach volleyball, bowling, kayak fishing, and most recently, golf.
I believe fitness should enhance your life, not control it. I’m passionate about helping people realize their potential no matter where they’re starting from.
Whether your goal is weight loss, building muscle and strength, improving endurance,
or simply moving and feeling better without pain, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward with confidence.
My goal is to support, challenge, and guide you every step of the way so you can build a stronger, healthier, and more capable version of yourself.
Time to invest in myself - overweight, high cholesterol, high liver enzymes, etc., etc… NO MORE! Best decision I’ve made in a long time was to invest in myself & get to work - after all, I must outlive my donkeys! I joined THRC in late March 2021 and Elias is my trainer - what can I say - not just the physical change I see and feel, but the mental change.
Read MoreI am currently working out with Camp Gladiator and I have signed up for Fitness Challenge which takes place in July 2020. After my two free sessions through THRC with Elias, I loved it. I told Elias my goal is to get stronger for the challenge. His knowledge regarding fitness is helping and motivating me. Elias pushed me slowly to do more and more to push myself to new limits.
Hi everyone! My name is Natalie Villalobos, and I’ve been a personal trainer since 2019.
I was born and raised in San Marcos, Texas, and graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science.
Since then, I’ve developed a strong passion for supporting expecting and post-pregnancy mothers through safe,
effective exercise and have earned my pre- and post-natal certification.
I also enjoy working with a wide range of clients, each with unique goals and backgrounds.
A few of my favorite things are fried pickles, Christmas, and traveling.
My love for health and fitness – combined with my desire to help others – makes this career incredibly rewarding.
I’m excited to continue contributing to THRC’s supportive, family-oriented,
and personable environment, where you and your health truly matter.
I’m dedicated to turning your goals into achievements and
helping you build fitness into a sustainable lifestyle. Let’s grow together!
I joined THRC in mid March and it was honestly the best decision I had ever made.
I wasn’t eating properly and wanted to change that but didn’t know where to start and
I had the time and commitment of wanting to work out but felt so intimidated by the whole aspect of it.
For the longest time I was constantly going through phases of working out and trying to eat healthy.
I just could not stay committed. To be honest, I thought working out was boring and not for me.
I got to the point where all I did was complain about my unhealthy habits and realized how annoying I probably sounded to everyone.
I joined THRC Downtown not only to improve my health and appearance, but to gain better self-esteem.
After a few sessions with Natalie V. I am feeling stronger physically and value the person I am, as well as who I'm becoming.
I would recommend training with Natalie if you're like me and need that extra push to get going.
Hello! My name is Kiersten Castro and I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer at THRC.
Along with health and fitness, some of my favorite things are being outdoors, traveling, and playing with my dog.
My passion for health and fitness grew from my own experience of
how a healthy lifestyle can change your entire life for the better.
My goal as a personal trainer is to build relationships where I can share my knowledge and
guide individuals through their health and fitness journey,
ultimately changing their life, both physically and mentally, for the better.
Let’s get started and thrive together!
Hello! My name is Natalie Ornelaz and you can find me at the downtown location.
I moved here from California in 2017 and I couldn’t be happier to call Texas my home!
I recently graduated from Texas State with a B.S. in Nutrition & Dietetics.
I am so excited to have the opportunity to apply what I learned to help you reach your goals.
My top goals are to teach others to fuel their bodies instead of depriving them,
and show the joys/benefits of strength training.
If I’m not working or lifting, you’ll probably find me eating, walking my dog, or hanging with my THRC family.
Hey ya’ll, my name is Dylan Rayner, a dedicated personal trainer here at THRC!
I am currently pursuing a degree in Exercise and Sports Science (Pre-rehabilitation Sciences concentration) at Texas State University.
My journey in fitness stems from a lifelong passion for health and wellness, fostered by my upbringing immersed in athletics.
From a young age I was drawn to the power of physical activity, which led me to embrace various sports and disciplines.
Through these experiences and great coaching, I've learned invaluable lessons about the impact of exercise on both the mind and body.
My mission as a personal trainer is empowering individuals to unlock their full potential.
I believe that optimal health is not only about physical strength or outward appearance, but being mobile in all aspects of life.
By sharing my knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm, I strive to inspire positive lifestyle change that extends far beyond the gym.
Hi everyone! My name is Hannah and I am so excited to be a new part of the personal training team here at THRC!
I'm currently in my junior year at Texas State and I am pursuing a degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in pre-rehabilitation.
I have had a passion for exercise from a young age, and my love for all things health and fitness has only grown over the years.
I have been a dancer my whole life, and it wasn't until I tore my ACL and
meniscus back in high school that motivated me to start a new journey of exploring a career in fitness.
A few years ago, I started teaching group fitness classes,
I immediately fell in love with instructing and I met the most incredible people along the way.
I feel so grateful to have a job that I am truly so passionate about, and
I am so excited to take on this new journey as a personal trainer!
My biggest hope is to help others find joy in exercising and to help others achieve their goals!

I recently completed my dietetic internship and will soon be sitting for the credentialing exam to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
Throughout my life, I’ve watched loved ones struggle with chronic diseases that could have been better managed through movement and nutrition.
Those experiences, along with my love for food and exercise, have fueled my passion for helping others live healthier lives.
Weight training and running became foundational for me during school—not just for physical health,
but as powerful tools for stress relief and mental well-being.
As a trainer, my niche is helping people feel confident and comfortable in the gym.
I focus on teaching proper form, introducing strength training in a simple and approachable way,
and building habits that fit each person’s lifestyle without feeling overwhelmed.

having to start from ground zero, that I discovered I wanted to help others through their fitness and reach their goals whatever they may be!

helping them become the strongest and healthiest version of themselves! Let’s get started!

combined with my higher education, to help you achieve your goals.
I love to cook and bake, and I hope to show others that moving and
fueling your body is important for any and all goals you hope to reach.
My main objective is to have you leaving the gym feeling more confident in yourself.
