All THRC Team Members Criteria:

  • Provide the highest level of customer service and hospitality to all members
  • Enjoy working in a positive environment with fabulous clientele
  • Maintain a positive, can do attitude and take initiative
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on facility, group fitness, personal training, and THRC events
  • Participation in all THRC external marketing events
  • Work as cohesive team with all THRC team members to ensure efficiency and camaraderie and assist management in daily health club tasks and projects
  • Willing to complete CPR certification within the first 30 days of employment
  • Must have flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule MUST HAVE WEEKEND, HOLIDAY, and SOME EARLY MORNING/MIDDAY/LATE EVENING WEEKDAY AVAILABILITY

Personal Training

  • National level Personal Training certification such as ACSM, NSCA, NASM, CSCS or comparable
  • Degree in a health related field is considered an asset but not mandatory.
  • Personality skills are very important to us. Personal Trainers on our team are extremely friendly, confident, positive, upbeat, energetic and have great communication skills. Please apply only if these traits fit your personality.
  • We require trainers to be strong team players. If you don’t like other trainers taking care of your clients, sharing exercise ideas with your teammates, covering for other trainers while they’re away, and interacting and mingling with your co-workers, you probably won’t fit in with our fit family.
  • We require trainers to be able to work independently, have strong work ethics and excellent initiative. Our standards are very high. Please apply only if you are driven to be the very best and are ready to continually improve.
  • Experience is an asset, however, most importantly, a trainer on our team must be willing to learn new systems and protocol and be able to adapt to the standards we have at THRC.
  • Our Personal Trainers must have a passion for learning and must be committed to attending educational conferences, reading trade journals, continually updating their skills and staying on the cutting edge. If we have to force you to attend a continuing education event, you are not the right trainer for our team.
  • Our trainers believe that they truly have the ability to change someone’s life for the better by working with their clients every day.  To be successful in this position, you must continually strive to reach every one of our members.

Guest Services

  • Take initiative to know every member of the club by name.
  • Check in all members and be able to answer questions about memberships and give direction.  Guest services is the nucleus of the club and facilitates the member’s every day experience.
  • Assist in training and coaching new members of the THRC Front Desk Team.
  • Sell set amount of smoothies per shift and sell set amount of pro shop items to members.
  • Must be willing to initiate tasks and perform duties without direction.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work with wide range of personalities.
  • Must have outstanding customer service and problem solving skills.
  • Must have professional and friendly phone etiquette.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast paced environment.
  • Must have customer service experience.
  • Willing to complete food handlers certificate within the first week of employment.

Fitness Consultant

  • Be detail-oriented and organized.
  • Our successful consultants are able to drive traffic and generate new leads.  Skill in prospecting is a must.
  • Successful applicants will take genuine interest in our members by conducting followup calls and performing basic account management to drive retention.
  • Be capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
  • Be extremely friendly, positive, upbeat, energetic, and have great communication and customer service skills.
  • Have the capacity to work independently and take initiative.
  • Be a strong team player.
  • Have excellent phone, computer, and reception skills.
  • Have a strong work ethic.
  • Have a passion for learning.
  • Have customer service experience.
  • Consultative sales experience is a plus but not mandatory.  Successful applicants understand how to close deals in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Be capable of working a minimum of 35 hours per week. May require early morning, late evening, and/or weekend shifts.

 

 

 

Maintenance

  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of all equipment and facilities.
  • Assist in training and coaching new members of the THRC Maintenance team.
  • Complete all daily, weekly, monthly and yearly checklists.
  • Be available to help during maintenance emergency situations.
  • Must have maintenance or cleaning experience experience.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast paced environment.
  • Must be willing to initiate tasks and perform duties without direction.
  • Must have outstanding problem solving skills.

Marketing

  • Be detail-oriented and organized.
  • Must be creative and able to collaborate in a team atmosphere.
  • Be capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
  • Have the capacity to work independently and take initiative.
  • Be a strong team player and able to be involved in the happenings in every department.
  • Must have super organization skills and be able to track effectiveness of all campaigns.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication
  • Must perform well under strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of all forms of marketing including but not limited to, gorilla, social media, web based, event organization, video creation and flyer creation.
  • Basic graphic design experience is mandatory.
  • Coding and web site management are a plus but not mandatory.

Childcare

  • Checking in and checking out children into club systems.
  • Playing, entertaining, and helping kids in the kids club.
  • Taking initiative to come up with activities to keep kids entertained from age 6 months – 15 years.
  • Assist in training and coaching new members of the Childcare team.
  • Keep kids club organized and clean to keep the safety of our children as our number one priority.
  • Must have child care experience.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast paced environment.
  • Must be willing to problem solve and resolve issues with children and parents.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work with wide range of personalities.
  • Must have a passion for children’s health and willing to get our kids moving and playing!
