January is all about GOAL SETTING! It’s a New Year, it’s time for a New You in 2019! Here at Texas Health and Racquet Club in San Marcos, Texas, our passion is helping people set goals and crush them with the use of our state of the art training facility, amazing personal training staff, and by providing all of the additional support you need! We have everything you could possibly need here at THRC (including supplements and smoothies!)

We encourage all of our members to periodically sit down and assess what they are wanting to achieve in the gym. All goals are unique, but the art of goal setting is the same!

Let’s talk long-term goals. And example of this would be setting a personal goal for what you would like to achieve with regards to your health and fitness in 2019. Next is creating an action plan! Break down 2019 into segments, maybe monthly or quarterly, and create small goals within those segments. You will then need to do some research online, ask questions and/or hire one of our personal trainers to create a training plan and/or training calendar. You’re now ready to start!

Keeping up the excitement with regards to your plan and staying motivated becomes an issue for many people. There are several ways to stay motivated! Our InBody Body Competition Analysis can show you true results, keeping you focused! You can also try a group fitness class! At THRC, we offer 37 group fitness classes every week! From Zumba to Yoga, Pump to Cycle and everything in between, we have so many classes! And, they are all FREE with your membership! When you need a boost to break a plateau or help with boredom, hire a personal trainer! Our THRC elite Personal Trainers have a knack for keeping things fresh and exciting on the gym floor and getting you the results you want. We also offer many add on programs here at the best gym in San Marcos! From group training programs such as Body Rock and Women on Weights, to Bootcamp and our Running Club, we have more options than your typical big-box gym. Mix it up and keep it fresh! If at any point you need help with goal-setting, assessment or implementation, please ask a staff member for help. Please remember that OUR GOAL at THRC is to help you achieve YOUR GOALS!
